At Mid Atlantic Retina and Wills Eye Hospital, he became the Director of the Clinical Retina Research Unit and chaired various committees, significantly contributing to the field of ophthalmology.
A Prolific Contributor and Educator: Authoring over 300 scientific papers and 9 major textbooks, Dr. Regillo is a prolific contributor to ophthalmology literature. He holds editorial roles in several distinguished journals and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His participation in prestigious societies and receipt of numerous accolades, including being named one of the top 100 most influential people in ophthalmology, underscores his impact.
